Chapter lands Mayo success
Chapter Eleven beat off the attentions of Western Island to claim the first division of the Mask Pavillion Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe.
The pair locked horns rounding the bend in the two-and-a-half mile event but it was John Carr's charge who found more in the closing stages.
Jason McKeown got a good tune from the Rashar mare, who asserted close home for a two-length success.
"She's been knocking on the door and we'll find something similar for her now," said Carr.
It was a local success with the Racing Tribe Syndicate hailing from Westport.
