Cause Of Causes heading for Cheltenham
Cause Of Causes leads at the last from Si C'etait Vrai at Fairyhouse

Dessie Hughes has never hidden his regard for Si C'etait Vrai and he was well-backed for the Follow Fairyhouse On Twitter Hurdle. It was a commendable performance therefore from Cause Of Causes to lower his colours by half a length.
Davy Condon rode the Galway Hurdle second, Cause Of Causes. He just held on to the tag of favouritism at 11/8 from Si C'etait Vrai (6/4) and it was close between the pair out on the track too.
Si C'etait Vrai tried to make all but he was picked up by the Gordon Elliott-trained Cause Of Causes at the last. The Timeform Betfair Racing Club Ltd-owned Cause Of Causes then went on to prevail cosily.
Elliott said: "He did it nicely. Davy said he blew up after the second last so he didn't knock him around. The plan is the Racing Post Hurdle at Cheltenham.
"Unfortunately he'll get a five pound penalty for that but it's another winner on the board. He needed a good gallop so it worked out grand." (GC & EM)
