Cass Bligh scores for Murray/Walsh
Not since Dundalk's card last February was a Bumper held as the opening race, but the Liscahill Bumper at Thurles today began proceedings with a win for the Adrian Murray trained Cass Bligh under Katie Walsh.
The son of Witness Box raced in mid-division before eventually progressing to lead a furlong and a half out, scoring by two lengths from Rockfield Abbey
Afterwards Co Westmeath based Murray reported “that is my second winner and I have ten horses riding out at present. Cass Bligh will go for a maiden hurdle next and is a nice horse who may appreciate better ground.”
