Cash shines on Evidence
Another odds-on shot bit the dust in the Richard Browne & Sons Ltd Hurdle at Wexford as outsider Hide The Evidence benefitted from an enterprising ride from Barry Cash. Cass Bligh was sent off 8/13 market leader but had to settled for third as Niall Moran's 16/1 shot led his rivals a merry dance.
Cash poached an early lead on the gelding and had his rivals at work before the second last.
He galloped on strongly as No One Tells Me chased him home, only getting within eight lengths.
"We've had him about a year and gave him a run on the Flat at Wolverhampton last month and that sweetened him up," said Michael McElhone, who was representing the winning trainer.
