Gary Carroll completed a double this evening when Inwood came home in front of the Aslan Handicap for trainer Paul Magnier.

Carroll produced the 9/2 shot to lead inside the final furlong and the seven year old stayed on well to score by three parts of a length.

Winning trainer Magnier said afterwards: “He won’t go between horses he has to go wide and we have been frustrated with him in the past.”

“We will go for something similar in about a week or so time.”
