Carberry Forces the issue
Paul Carberry proved to be a ‘super-sub’ in the Bar One Racing Handicap at Downpatrick this evening, replacing Bryan Cooper on the Robbie Hennessy trained winner Magnetic Force
Magnetic Force moved to the front at the final fence and was all out late on to defeat Point The Toes
Jockey Bryan Cooper was due to ride the gelding but failed to recover sufficiently from a fall at Tipperary yesterday.
Afterwards Hennessy stated “blinkers helped Magnetic Force today but needs someone as strong as Paul Carberry. That’s his class of race and he’s a summer horse.”
