The Aengus King trained Capture The Drama recorded his sixth win in the space of a year, as he made virtually all in the Eoin O'Gorman Solicitors Novice Handicap Chase.
The nine-year-old son of Dushyantor won a maiden hurdle at 100/1 at Gowran last March, and he has since added victories over fences at Tramore, Galway, Fairyhouse and Wexford.
He was last seen finishing down the field at Down Royal in January, and he was sent off a 4/1 chance today with Andrew Ring in the saddle.
Sent straight to the front he made virtually all, keeping on well from before the second last, going on to score comfortably by eight lengths.
Dr Walugi ran on into second, and he was returned at 10/3 under Conor Maxwell for Eoin Doyle. Goulane Chosen was sent off the 11/10 favourite, but he faded tamely entering the straight, and eventual finished a disappointing fourth.
The winning trainer said afterwards: "We thought the distance was too short as he's been winning over three miles but he needed a run and we picked this race. Coming here I was only hoping for the minor places.
"In the past year he has changed so much. I would have given him away over a year ago but we stuck with him. He travels much better now, and on that performance we could look for something over 2m 4f the next day."
