Aidan O'Brien's Captain Barbossa (13/8) had too many guns for Listen Dear in the two mile three furlong Buy Online @corkracecourse.ie Flat Race.
Captain Barbossa raced in second as 8/13 favourite Listen Dear set out to make all as she had done in Downpatrick.
On the turn into the home straight it was evident that market leaders had the race between them.
Listen Dear and Patrick Mullins came wide into the straight and raced on the stands-side as Captain Barbossa ploughed a furrow up the middle.
Captain Barbossa came through to lead with over two furlongs to race and powered away from Listen Dear who couldn't respond.
Sarah O'Brien steered the winner home by two and a quarter lengths from the odds-on favourite.
"It was a good run race and he stayed on very well," Joseph O'Brien said.
"There are winners' bumpers at Galway and Tipperary for him but we'll see how he comes out of this first - he can go wherever."
This made it two from two for Captain Barbossa who won a Ballinrobe bumper in May by a short head.
