As J P McManus' Yanworth was just about getting the job done over at Ascot, he completed a Punchestown treble with Mark Walsh (double on the card) as the Enda Bolger-trained Cantlow took the honours in the Risk Of Thunder Chase.
Well-backed 3/1 favourite Cantlow was never far away, and he headed the pace-setting Ballyboker Bridge after the third last.
Ridden after the next, Cantlow kept on well on the run-in to see off Ballyboker Bridge by two and three parts of a length.
McManus, on the mark earlier with Landofhopeandglory (Mark Walsh) and Rogue Trader (Robbie Power), also had the third home here, Auvergant (Enda Bolger as well). Foxrock will likely benefit from his experience around the cross-country course, but a well-held fifth was the best he could manage on this occasion.
"He was really on fire today and will probably go to Cheltenham next month. That was one of the better cross country races we have had for a while," said Bolger.
"I left Josies Orders at home as I didn't want to run him on that ground. He will run over hurdles at Navan next week, and then on to Cheltenham next month.
"Stand Up And Fight may go to Navan next Sunday as well for the Monksfield Novice Hurdle."
