Call records smooth maiden win
Not Your Call scores in good style under Wayne Lordan

A step up in trip proved just the trick for Not Your Call who took the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Maiden under an ultra-confident ride by Wayne Lordan.
Owned and trained by Eddie Lynam, the Balmont gelding stalked chief market-rival Lone Star all the way up the straight with Lordan’s hands full.
He waited until inside the final furlong of this mile event before sending the 4/5 favourite on, and duly quickened clear to score by a length and three quarters.
The pair stretched over six lengths ahead of Sparkee Sakhee in third.
Lynam said, “It probably wasn’t the strongest maiden but small fish are sweet. We’ll probably come back here for a little handicap. At least he’s got a win now and it will keep the grumpy owner happy!”
