Caim Hill benefits from Jagoes Mills fall
The Philip Fenton trained Caim Hill followed up on his recent win at Down Royal when landing the Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase at Limerick.
Brian O'Connell 's mount made his headway approaching the straight, improved to dispute at the last and was soon left clear after Jagoes Mills crashed out.
The pair kept on gamely on the run-in to post a five length win over Across The Bay and Paul Carberry.
A relieved Fenton said afterwards: "I don't really know what would have happened there but luck was on our side and that's important."
"He has the potential to be a Galway Plate horse. I think the better ground is in his favour and he's won around Galway twice before."
