Cabaret benefits from confident ride
Aidan O'Brien was full of praise for the ride Johnny Murtagh gave 2-y-o filly Cabaret when she ran out a comfortable winner of the Kildare Village sponsored Maiden at The Curragh.
'Johnny did very well on her, he gave her a confident rider. She is a hardy filly and has improved from her debut run. We will step her up in class after this.'
Regarding the softening ground ahead of Sunday's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby and the chance of Sea The Stars missing out O'Brien said: 'Hopefully they will all get to run on Sunday, it is important for The Curragh and for the race. Hopefully that will happen if we get a dry day tomorrow and on Sunday.'
