Trainer Charles Byrnes, whose Weapons Amnesty made his comeback from a long layoff at Leopardstown today, registered a double at Limerick today when Dazzlers Day appeared to cause a 20/1 upset in the Ryans Cleaning Handicap Hurdle.
A third winner in three days' racing at Limerick for jockey Rob Jones, the son of Lando, carrying first time blinkers, ran out the easy four and a half lengths, and two and a quarter lengths, winner over shorter priced rivals Missie Ella (9/4f) and Robbie McMahon (5/2).
Byrnes was at the Dublin venue where RSA Chase winner Weapons Amnesty pulled up following a layoff of 1017 days.
