Bundle Of Fun eventually gets there

Hard pressed favourite backers at Downpatrick got some respite when Bundle Of Fun took the Now Your Talking EBF Beginners Chase for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh.
The costly-to-follow 7/4 favourite was left clear at the second last by the fall of the very-easy-to-back Days Ahead (every chance at the time). He brought Cosmic Wonder to a standstill leaving Bundle Of Fun to go on and beat Scholars Mate by thirty one lengths.
"Experience pays off! That's his 19th run over fences. Ruby said he hated the soft ground but there was enough good ground for him to gallop away. He might be better suited to England and the ground there. A couple of tracks there might suit him," Willie Mullins said.
The Shanakiel Racing Syndicate own Bundle Of Fun and they are from Cork. They didn't travel up today after his poor show last time according to Mullins. (GC & EM)
