Buffalo wears down rivals
Buffalo Billy swooped on the outer to land the spoils in the Camas Park Stud EBF Maiden at Tipperary.
Johnny Murtagh, completing a double, produced his mount to challenge a furlong out and he stuck at his task well.
The John Oxx-trained colt got on top in the closing stages to record a length victory over Absolute Crackers
"He ran a nice race at Naas and is progressing from race to race," said Oxx.
"He's a professional smart little fellow and experience counts around here. He'll probably go for a nursery next."
The winner is owned by Sir Edmund Loder of Eyrefield Stud on the Curragh.
Murtagh had also struck earlier on Ultra Cool in the Glenvale Stud Handicap.
