All the Angels (3/1 fav) backed up his gambled-on victory at Killarney last week by taking the Limerick’s Live 95FM Handicap Hurdle in the hands of Kevin Brouder.
He had half a length to spare over the fast-finishing Our Roxane (11/1), with Bective Cave (6/1) the same distance back in third. Blackyellowred (12/1) rewarded each-way players by finishing a close-up fourth.
Winning jockey Kevin Brouder remarked of Eoin McCarthy’s winner :
“He’s not a simple horse and the lads who have ridden him all along have done a great job on him.
“He hung in all the way, and is still a pure baby. Hopefully he can keep improving and there might be a race for him in Listowel.
“He never jumped a hurdle the last day in Killarney but he was very good today and pricked his ears after jumping the last.”
