The concluding AIRO Irish Nation Hunt Bumper at Punchestown today went to the Pat Fahy trained newcomer Morning Assembly under his son Conor Fahy.
The gelding was under pressure back in fifth under two furlongs out but stayed on strongly to eventually wear down Mister Hotelier close home.
Afterwards Fahy Snr said “I got a bit of a fright down the back straight when he was struggling to stay with them, but he came home great.
“Every bit of work he has done, he has done it well. He is still green and we’ll freshen him up a bit before making a plan.”
