Brick By Brick made all to land the feature at Fairyhouse this afternoon, the Listed Ballyhane Blenheim Stakes.
After filling the runner-up spot on three of his first four starts, the gelded son of Big Bad Bob belatedly got off the mark at the Curragh last month.
He finished third to Blue Uluru in a Premier Nursery on his most recent start at Navan, and he was sent off a 5/1 chance today with Shane Foley in the saddle.
Sent straight to the front by Foley, the Anamoine Limited owned bay was a few lengths clear over two furlongs out.
He was ridden inside the final furlong, and kept up the gallop, staying on well to score by two and three parts of a length. Gobi Desert who was returned the 8/11 favourite, tried hard to reel-in the winner, but he ultimately had to settle for second under Colin Keane for Ger Lyons, with Golden Spell a further length and a quarter back in third.
"He ran in a nursery last time and we thought he had a lot of weight so we held on to him. I don't think he liked that," said Harrington.
"Today he just let him flow and he loved it. He was always going easy and got the trip really well. I'm delighted with him.
"I was a bit worried about the ground and we nearly withdrew him."
Foley and Harrington were combining for their third success in the last five days, after they recorded a double at Gowran on Saturday.
STEWARDS REPORT
P.J. Smullen, rider of Sollertia trained by Tracey Collins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her footing on the turn in and lost her action thereafter.
