Boyo continues on the rise in Munster
Go On Ya Boyo followed up a good Limerick success from a week ago when defying a 9Ib penalty with the minimum of fuss in the Mitchelstown GAA Raceday Handicap Hurdle.
Niall 'Slippers' Madden didn't have to exert any pressure on the 3/1 shot (from 7/2) to prevail by a length and a quarter from Pom Flyer The winning eight-year-old son of Pistolet Bleu put in a big bold jump at the last on his way to victory.
Eddie Cawley owns and trains Go On Ya Boyo and he said: "He has had quite a bit of injury in his time and this was the first time that he came out of a race (Limerick) right. He got 9Ibs for that and hopefully the handicapper won't stop us now and he might go to Fairyhouse."
