Bowmore justified his short price with a cosy win in the second division of the two-mile maiden hurdle at Wexford.
Henry de Bromhead's charge had run well in a couple of strong maidens hurdle during the winter and went to post a 5/6 shot on his return to action.
Mike O'Connor tracked the leaders on the Vadamos gelding and he moved up to challenged turning for home.
A good jump at the second last propelled Bowmore into the lead and he was in control down over the last and he posted a seven-length success over Dark Note
O'Connor said: "He was very good today. It turned out to be a nice maiden hurdle, the one he ran in at Leopardstown. His last two runs were nice and he could only improve from them.
“He was good today and was big and bold over the last two, he had plenty left in the tank. He seems straightforward and looks to have a gear. It seemed a nice run race and he seems a nice horse anyway.
"I've been having a brilliant time lately and kind of wish the break wasn't so close! Henry has been great to me and all the trainers and owners I've been riding for over these past few weeks.
"I think that's my 50th winner now so my claim is down to 3lb."
