The Colin Bowe trained Golden Flowerpower followed up last month’s Dromahane point to point win with a debut bumper success at Wexford today, landing the concluding Mobile Betting At 188BET European Breeders Fund Mares Bumpers under Barry O’Neill.
The daughter of King’s Theatre made all in her ‘points’ win and similar tactics were again successful today as she comfortably beat Cant Wait by eight lengths.
Bowe, recently crowned Leading Point to Point Handler for the fourth time, later stated "Barry rode her the last day in Dromahane and said she saves away, she keeps filling herself and she is never doing too much.
"We will probably leave her off now and give her a break as she is only a four-year-old filly. She will come back after the summer and maybe go for a winners bumper after that performance. She has a very good pedigree and we will mind her."
