Owner Eugene Bourke started off Jer's Girl, subsequently twice successful at the top level for the Gavin Cromwell yard. The pair could have another good filly on their hands as Lady Camelot made a successful debut in the Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Fillies Maiden (Plus 10 Race) at Listowel.
Shane Foley rode the 9/1 shot and she got there in time to touch off fellow newcomer Time Queen by a head.
Foley said: "She jumped well from the gates and got a nice position. Gavin said she had plenty done but it's hard on two-year-olds in that ground. It's very tacky and holding ground but they are getting through it."
