Boss gives bookies a result
The How's The Boss (1992 Ladbroke Hurdle winner and the following year's Power Gold Cup hero) colours of Eddie Farrell got a successful airing when The Bosses Nephew (he would actually be a nephew of How's The Boss in human terms) provided a result for the bookmakers with a 14/1 success in the Naas Handicap Chase.
With Tom Doyle on his back for the first time, the Flemensfirth gelding, having his first outing since the end of May last year, wore down The Dew At Night (had looked a certain winner) on the run in to prevail by three parts of a length.
Successful trainer, John Brassil was happy in the aftermath, commenting: "Eddie (Farrell) is in Dubai but it's nice to win any day. Please God he'll go on from here."
