Bolger to go 'fishing' with Stellar Glow

Trainer Jim Bolger and stable jockey Kevin Manning completed opening maiden race doubles at Leopardstown today as their Stellar Glow just about justified 8/13 favouritism to win the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden.
The daughter of Sea The Stars had proven herself when placed twice at Stakes level and while rated 101 today, was without a win in six previous starts including two maidens.
She did have to work for her win today and in the end held On A Pedestal by a neck.
Bolger later stated âshe was always going to get it (the win) but made us wait a little while.
âI still think there is a big day in her and hopefully we'll fish it out of her before her career is over.
âEventually she'll go for something big but if there's a handy Listed race going we'll give it a go - if there is such a thing anymore!â
