Bolger eyes premier handicap for Dancila
Dancila, far side, beats Safecracker, left, and Entropy

Dancila was swift over the ground and resolute in the latter stages of the mile and a quarter Hurling For Cancer August 16th Handicap.
The 11/1 shot raced in second off clear leader Ides Of August and when the pace collapsed moved to the front racing to the final furlong.
He was closely attended by Entropy and the pair locked horns for a final-furlong battle. Entropy, the 7/4 favourite, couldn't quite get on terms with Dancila and gave best in the closing stages.
A staying-on Safecracker (4/1) wasn't done with, though, and fairly rattled home for second. He got to within half a length of the winner and Kevin Manning.
"Maybe he prefers going left-handed,” said Jim Bolger.
“A mile-and-a-quarter upwards is all the same to him. He could go for a premier handicap now.”
Bolger is well involved in the Hurling For Cancer fundraiser.
