Bolger and Manning land quick-fire double
Vocalised further enhanced his reputation and confirmed his place in the line up for Boylesports Irish 2000 Guineas back at the Curragh in three-weeks time.
Vocalised is now unbeaten in his last four-starts with his only defeat coming behind subsequent English 2000 Guineas winner Sea The Stars.
Speaking afterwards winning trainer Jim Bolger is hopeful that there will be nicer ground for the opening Irish Classic of the season.
"He will go for the 2000 Guineas and I just hope for better ground as he struggled a bit in that."
In reference to getting nicer ground, Bolger said, "You haven't seen anything yet."
Bolger and Manning got the day off to a good start with a slight upset in the Strategic Prince EBF Maiden at the Curragh this afternoon.
Kevin Manning was onboard as 14/1 chance Atasari showed some fine battling qualities to regain her advantage well inside the final 50-yards of the six-furlong contest to deny debutant Clashnacree by half a length, with even money favourite Alfred Nobel back in third.
Of the winner the trainer remarked, "Her mother was placed in the National Stakes and Moyglore Stakes and she needs a mile already. She handles that ground better than others and is a nice filly."
