Bolger and Manning in double form
Trainer Jim Bolger and jockey Kevin Manning completed a double this afternoon when winning the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden with Carraiglawn
The short priced ½ favourite who took up the lead early was ridden clear from over two furlongs out and kept on strongly to record a five length win.
Ger Flynn who was representing the winning trainer stated: “Kevin [Manning] said he did it well.”
“He holds an entry in the Irish Derby so we’ll take it from here. He deserved that win.”
The winning combination of Bolger and Manning were on the mark earlier when Queen Andromache landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.
