Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning doubled up at Navan today when Scoil Naisiunta claimed the concluding mile handicap.
Manning always had the daughter of Intense Focus handy and she was sent for home passing the two pole.
The 8/1 shot skipped a few lengths clear before the furlong market and has enough up her sleeve to hold on close home for a three-parts-of-a-length success over Birth Of Venus
Scoil Naisiunta was making her third outing of the campaign and was supplementing a juvenile win at Naas last October.
Travelling head lad Ger Flynn said:- “Kevin said they weren’t going a million miles an hour so he decided to sit up on the pace.
“Turning into the straight she quickened away well, and again he’s just hanging on at the end.
“She’s done it well and is back to winning ways. She's won two for us now.”
Manning and Bolger had also struck earlier with Constancio in the mile-five handicap.
