Bolger & Manning complete Curragh double
Jim Bolger took the Loder EBF Fillies Race for the fourth year in a row when Banimpire came home in front under stable jockey Kevin Manning.
Manning who made most aboard 15/8 favourite was strongly pressed by runner -up Ballybacka Lady from over a furlong and a half out.
The pair kept on well on the run-in to post a three parts of a length win.
Winning trainer Bolger said afterwards: “She is really one for next year but in saying that don’t be surprised if you see her very soon.”
“She could be a possible for the Moyglare Stakes.”
Bolger and Manning were on the mark earlier when Whipless took the opening race on today's card.
