Bogie causes upset
Bogie sprang a 25/1 surprise when claiming the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Navan for Ger Lyons.
Emmet McNamara produced the Pivotal colt to wear down Akinndi in the final furlong and record a length victory.
"We think a bit of him. The first day at Leopardstown he went mad at the start and got a fright," revealed Lyons.
"It's totally out of character for him - he's never done anything like it before or since. I sent Andrew Duff down to the start with him today.
"He's a nice horse with a good pedigree and will make a cracking three-year-old."
