Buenos Y Bobos returned to form to take the Coral.ie Best Price Guaranteed On All Irish Races Handicap at the Curragh.
The Big Bad Bob gelding won twice last year including over this ten-furlong trip at Fairyhouse but rather lost his way for the remainder of the season.
However Paddy Twomey’s charge had dropped quite a bit in the ratings as a result, and travelled nicely here to challenge over a furlong out.
Billy Lee ’s mount found most inside the final furlong to get the better of Gallope by three quarters of a length, with Papa’s Way just a head back in third.
Twomey said, "I was hoping he'd run well and he's gone and done it nicely. He came down a good bit in the ratings which was a big help."
