Bob wins on the same day as his Daddy's race
On the day that the opener at the Curragh was named after the stallion Big Bad Bob, his son Bob Le Beau won the United Arab Emirates Handicap under Shane Foley.
Jessica Harrington 's charge came through strongly in the final furlong to defy top-weight from Plum Sugar
Mrs Harrington said: "He's a smashing horse and that's the first time he's won over a mile and a half which makes future options easier.
"Shane Foley gets on brilliant with him and he'll go for another mile and a half handicap next, likely to be at Royal Ascot."
The well-backed Zerashan (8s into 9/2) had to settle for fifth place.
