Bob gets Carr moving again
Sublimity's former trainer John Carr has endured a quiet season and registered his second seasonal winner at Fairyhouse today, when Dulgodti Bob under the Irish Andrew Thornton, won the grief-stricken 3m1f Royal County Handicap Chase.
Previously successful over hurdles at this venue last month, the son of Bob Back battled on well in testing conditions to dourly defeat High Fidelity by four and a half lengths. Just seven of the 25 runners completed.
Afterwards Carr stated "Dulgodti Bob had a spell over hurdles and goes on any ground. He may go for a long distance handicap chase at Punchestown next."
