Bob Lingo impresses at Punchestown
Davy Russell booted home the 4/5 favourite Bob Lingo of Tom Mullins to land The Punhestown Event Centre Maiden Hurdle by an impressive 27 lengths in the familiar colours of J P McManus.
Mullins commented afterwards, "I was probably a bit disappointed the last day, but I'd say he learned a lot more in that race than he did here today and that stood to him. He pulled up a fresh horse which surprised me considering the ground conditions and there maybe more to come. I always thought he was a good ground horse but Davy [Russellsaid he floated on that stuff out there today. So as far as I'm concerned he goes on all ground."
