Blues takes the last at Down Royal
Vampire Blues took the concluding four runner I.T.B.A. (Northern Region) Handicap under Keagan Latham at Down Royal.
The daughter of Azamour, also the sire of yesterday's final race winner, Seraakh, got on top inside the final furlong and went on to hold-off the staying-on Sarsfields Legend by three parts of a length.
Winning trainer Ger Lyons remarked: "I was glad the favourite came out (Accidental Outlaw) because I felt he was a good thing on paper. It goes back to the old adage that if you’re not in you can't win.
"I'm delighted she has won as she is a small little filly. The ground here is safe and I think they did a great job over the three days."
