Blue Ridge Lane wins again
Pat Smullen was seen to good effect when coming with a late surge to land the Oldcastle Rated Race aboard the Dermot Weld trained Blue Ridge Lane making it a double on the day for the jockey.
Smullen raced the son Indian Ridge towards rear and kept on strongly inside the final furlong to get his head in front close home for a half length win over Riobamba
Winning trainer Weld said afterwards: “They went very fast early on, Pat gave him a good ride the both came home very well. It great when it works out.”
