Black Apalachi books ticket to Aintree
Black Apalachi will head to Aintree for the Grand National following his easy success in the Attheraces sponsored Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse.
Winning trainer Dessie Hughes said: He gave an exhibition of jumping today and all going well his next run will be in the Grand National at Aintree. He doesn't need many runs to get him right. He would ideally want soft ground but he also goes on good ground.
Black Apalachi was completing a double for both Dessie Hughes and Roger Loughran, the pair were also successful with Kyrie Eleison in the Grade 2 Juvenile Hurdle.
