Binocular keeps Flynn up in lights at Ballinrobe
Pat Flynn has his string in serious order at present, a point further emphasised by the success of the Joseph O'Brien ridden Binocular (GB) in the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap at Ballinrobe.
He may be only small but the successful son of Observatory was always on the gallop here and he ultimately led two furlongs, going on to hold off Lough Ferrib by three parts of a length.
Available at 9/1 this morning and 8s into 6s on track, Binocular is owned by Michael Duggan and he is a versatile type as he was adding this success on a relatively sound surface to a couple of wins gained on heavy (one of those was a hurdle).
