The ITBA & Gain Horse Feeds EBF Sweet Mimosa Stakes was won by the Charles O’Brien trained Bewitched under a confident ride by Johnny Murtagh.

Murtagh who sat in rear moved through the field to join leaders under two furlongs out.

The daughter of Dansili picked up well for Murtagh to lead close home for a three parts of a length win over Swiss Diva

Winning trainer O’Brien said afterwards: “We rode her a bit differently today, she tanked a bit the last day at Fairyhouse so we missed the break on purpose with her today.”

“We’ll step her up to Listed or Group company. We’ll try and stick to fillies races and we’ll travel if we have to.”
