The Ulster Bank Nursery was won by John Oxx's Barizan with Fran Berry doing the steering in the familiar colours of His Highness The Aga Khan.

Berry settled his mount in behind the leaders and improved to led over 1f out and stayed on well to win by 1 3/4 length nearest rival being Pride Celebre of David Wachman's.
