Berry lands double on Alamanda
Fran Berry struck from the front again when Alamanda made most of the running to claim the fillies maiden at Dundalk.
Jessica Harrington 's charge stayed on well in the closing stages to score by three-parts-of-a-length from 33/1 newcomer Skyway
"She's a good tough mare. Her run at Navan last year was good, when she was staying on, and I was keen to make use of her stamina," said Berry afterwards.
"If the handicapper leaves her on that mark she should win a handicap."
Berry had also made the running earlier when claiming the opening race aboard Jolly Snake
