Berry Glowing at Fairyhouse
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Group 3 Stakes caused a surprise when 20/1 shot of Charles O’Brien’s Glowing came home in front under Fran Berry for owners Sue Magnier and Jacqueline O’Brien.
Winning trainer O’Brien said afterwards, “This filly has grown up a lot this year she was a big child last year. This was a decent race and no soft touch. Her ideal trip is over 7f or 1 mile, she is from a stamina laden family but speed is obviously her game. She may go to the Sales at Newmarket, we will have to see what the owners want to do.”
