Jessica Harrington's Benevolent wore down Heart To Heart in the nursery at Navan.
Heart To Heart had the field on the stretch as she increased her lead entering the final furlong of this sprint trip.
Benevolent was switched by Shane Foley to come with a challenge and found another gear to overwhelm the leader in the closing stages.
She kept on well to win going away by three parts of a length at 13/2 from 17/2. Runner-up Heart To Heart went off 10/3 joint favourite. Wild Eyed Girl was another two and a half lengths away in third at 14/1.
“She did that well, she just got stuck in the mud at Sligo the last day,” said Harrington.
“That quick ground is important to her and she'll get a little bit further as well, she was staying on well.
“She won snug enough in the end and I'm delighted with her. We'll look for another nursery on quick ground. We'll probably still have it next weekend.”
