Colin Keane brought up a Bellewstown double when driving top-weight Song Of Namibia to success in the McCabes Mitsubishi Motors Handicap.
Keane earlier a winner in the Qatar Racing Limited silks on the Johnny Murtagh handled Golden Spell in race one, here took the mount on Song Of Namibia for his boss Ger Lyons.
The Lyons runner came home best in the mile and three quarter event to defeat Byron Beauty and Wood Breizh by three parts of a length and a nose.
"I didn’t think that he was getting home. The whole idea was to take our time and get him settled. You would love to not have the (cheek)pieces on for the first one and a half miles and then put them on for the last two furlongs! He just looks around," said Lyons.
"It's another nice, cheap buy that has worked out for David (Spratt, owner). Fair play to Gary (Carroll) who rode him the last day and said this lad will definitely get a mile and six."
