Bell on the Ball
There was plenty of grief in the mares beginners chase which mightn't have been surprising given the hectic gallop but Belladventure negotiated her way around successfully under Andrew Lynch to beat Vale Of Avocia by a length and a half. Even money favourite, Cru disappointed a neck further adrift in third.
Pace-setter Our Symphony was still in front when falling two out, the same departure point as Polly Massini who was looking a big threat at the time.
Successful trainer, Henry de Bromhead said: "We had a bit of luck there but she jumps well and she'll be a nice mare to breed from." (EM)
