Beauty gives Hayes and Prendergast double
Brazilian Beauty registered a double for Kevin Prendergast and Chris Hayes when running out a convincing winner of the Loughwood.net Creosote Fencing Maiden at Limerick.
Hayes soon had his mount in front and she asserted over a furlong from home.
The filly, carrying the colours of Lady O'Reilly to a double also, kept on strongly in the closing stages for a three-length victory over the well-backed Palm Ridge (2/1 to 11/10f).
"She just didn't handle Tramore the last day and our horses were sick when she ran at Gowran," said Hayes afterwards.
"She's not ungenuine but we put the blinkers on today as she was coming back in trip. She's a nice filly."
Connections had also struck in the opening two-year-old maiden with Obligada
