Beauty gets her turn
The Paul Deegan trained Beauty Express in the frame on her last three starts, gained a deserved win in the Gorey Race at Wexford this evening.
Ridden by Willie Supple, the daughter of Whipper moved to the front early in the straight before staying on well for a length and a half win over Curl Cat
Afterwards Deegan’s representative Paul Coyle stated “Beauty Express is not winning out of turn and has been unlucky a few times. She will more than likely go to Galway now.”
Winning owner Sadie Doyle, from Dunlavin Co Wicklow, had previously enjoyed success with eight time winner Galevilla Express, which finished third in the 1993 Galway Plate on her last start.
