Out of Group One winning juvenile, Maybe, War Front debutant More Beautiful (11/4 favourite, from 15/8) ensured racing returned with a bang in Ireland, impressing greatly in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.
In this Naas sprint, Ballydoyle’s half-sister to 2018 English 2,000 Guineas hero, Saxon Warrior, travelled with ease throughout under Seamie Heffernan.
In front in the final quarter mile, the Aidan O’Brien runner was well on top at the line, by three and a half lengths and a length and three parts from Roses Blue and Nimbostratus
Continuing the good work for the yard after Love’s brilliant success in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket yesterday, More Beautiful not surprisingly impressed Heffernan.
He said: “She’s a War Front and every one of them have a lot of ability. She couldn’t have done it any easier and I liked what I felt today.”
For the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot Betfair make More Beautiful their 7/2 favourite.
