Bear strongest in Cork finale
On his first start for Henry de Bromhead Byerley Bear proved up to the task in the concluding www.corkracecourse.ie (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
David Roche got the Exit To Nowhere gelding to come home best and see off Metro Star by a length and a quarter.
De Bromhead said: "He is tough and he is a half-brother to Ross Moff. I'd say he is pretty decent and he went well in a schooling hurdle at Tipperary. Davy said he was green throughout the race but he is a lovely type and I'm lucky to have him."
