Eddie Harty recorded his first Black Type Win on the flat when Baron De'l won The Bam Contractors Alleged Stakes (Listed Race) under Fran Berry in the colours of the Dobbins Syndicate.

Harty said afterwards, "He's a class horse, he's won 6 times around here now. I was a little bit worried stepping him up in class but he handled it well. We don't really know what to do with him next, the owners are keen to go to Ascot so we might go there and might go back hurdling later on."
